Welcome to my website! After recently starting a family I realized that being able to cook a great meal for my family was very important to me. I also realized that our budget did not allow for the "buy whatever sounds good" meal planning that I had previously employed.

After checking out as many magazines and cookbooks that I could find, I feel like I have acquired some valuable knowledge that should be shared. It would have saved me much time and money if I had found all of this information in one place. Not only did I need to find planning ideas but also learn how to cook in different ways. For instance, who doesn't like steak, but which cut is a bargain and how can I cook it well?
